Front Desk Manager:
The Student Life Front Desk Manager oversees the student life front desk operations. They supervise student life front desk workers, manage student scheduling for desk hours, act as student life desk worker, and serve students and guests with positive customer service.
Position Qualifications:

- Prior supervision skills of some nature preferred
Compensation and Contract Commitments:
- Return and begin work on the first day of August Experience with up to 20 hours of work for that week
- Assist with planning and implementation of a front desk worker training the weekend prior to classes starting
- Up to 5 hours per week of front desk and administrative work while classes are in session
- Compensation starts at $11.00/hour
HAQ Center Coordinator:
HAQW Center Student Coordinators assist the Associate Director of Multicultural Affairs in managing the events and programs that are produced by the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA). Coordinators also assist OMA in providing support services for the Hanover College community.
Position Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proven track record of accomplishing goals without needing to be micromanaged
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 360
- Dependability and Time Management
Compensation and Contract Commitments:
- 3-4 hours per week
- Shifts assigned based on student's academic schedule
- Compensations starts at $9.50/hour
iPal:
iPals are upperclassmen who work closely with the Office of International Student Services (OISS) in assisting with the transitioning of incoming internatinoal students during their first semester at Hanover College. Coordinators also assist OISS in providing support services for the Hanover College community. These students should be culturally competent and cognizant of the special interest, issues, and obstacles of international students that are acclimating to a new country, culture, and environment. iPals are required to undergo extensive training to prepare them to guide incoming international students through this potentially stressful time.
Qualifications:
- Min. GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Status
- Will be present on Campus for Fall Term
- Available for training and I-week (week before August Experience)
Compensation and Contract:
- 40 hours/week
- 1 week commitment (international student orientation week)
- Training starting 2 days before I-week
- Stipend - $400
LGBTQ+ Center Coordinator:
The LGBTQ+ Center Student Coordinator works with the Office of Student Life to develop, facilitate, and advertise programs with queer and trans topics for LGBTQIA+ students. This position is responsible for coordinating special events including the Gender Support Group, LGBTQ+ Homecoming, and Indy Pride. They provide individual student support on an ongoing basis and connect students to resources and services. They are responsible for the daily operations of the LGBTQ+ Center including collecting and ordering Rainbow Closet supplies, managing library and educational materials, decorations, and sexual health items. They monitor the LGBTQ+ Center for cleanliness and place work orders as needed.

Compensation and Contract Commitments:
- This is an annual position that begins at the start of classes in the Fall term
- Up to 5 hours per week while classes are in session, including a weekly meeting with the Office of Student Life
- Compensation starts at $10.00/hour
New RA Position:
The Resident Assistant (RA) serves as a paraprofessional staff member for the Office of Residence Life, assisting students in on-campus housing in their adjustment to college through personal connections, availability to students, advising on personal and social matters, community development, safety and security, and programming, among other responsibilities. This role is integral to the success of the on-campus living experience.
Position Qualifications:
- Should maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, be in good standing with the College for duration of employment
- Should be able to balance academic work with the demands of the position
- Has knowledge of policies and procedures of the College
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to serve as a role model to peers
- Exhibits emotional maturity and sense of perspective
Compensation and Contract Commitments:
- Pre-Employment Trainings in April and May (two sessions of 2 hours each)
- One week of training in August prior to new student move-in
- Work approximately 10 hours weekly during 2023-24 academic year while in session
- Compensation equal to $4,400 for the full academic year
- Attend staff meetings and in-service traninings throughout academic year
- Weekend of training in January prior to start of term
- Break closing responsibilities
OWL Manager:
The Student Outdoor Wilderness Leadership (OWL) Manager provides day-to-day administrative support to the OWL program, provides leadership and oversight of student-led overnight trips, assists with the promotion of the program, manages the OWL gear rental program and ropes course.

- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, and be in good standing for the duration of employment
- Possess the ability to balance academic work with the demands of the position
- Has knowledge about the policies and regulations of the College and the transportation options provided
- Exhibit respect for the belief in the fundamental worth and dignity of human beings
- Has a desire to assist others and the ability to be organized but flexible in one's scheduling

- Position runs August through May
- Up to 5 hours/week
- Compensation starts at $9.50/hour
WAC Manager:
The WAC Manager oversees the coordination of the general Withrow Activity Center student workers and plans campus-wide programs like Vegas Night and Holiday Market.
Position Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
- Familiarity with campus programming procedures
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Experience with creating work schedules, running staff meetings, and maintaining a comprehensive calendar of events and schedules

- Position runs August through May
- 4-6 hours per week
- Compensation starts at $11.00/hour
